In this phase
No personal data collected
Public pages can be read without an account, email address or any other personal detail. Quiz answers are graded in your session and never stored on the server.
Self-hosted assets
Fonts and diagrams are served from this site itself: no third-party font or image CDNs are contacted when you load a page.
External links leave the site
Following a citation to an official source takes you to that publisher's website, which has its own privacy policy we do not control.
Technical details
- Server logs: as with any website, the hosting provider (Vercel) may record standard technical log data (IP address, requested path, time, user agent) for security and operations. We do not enrich it or use it for profiling.
- Local progress storage: lesson completion, your latest quiz score and your last visited lesson are saved under one versioned key in local storage on this device. The data is a small JSON record, is validated when read, never leaves your device, and disappears if you clear your browser data. Nothing else on the site writes to storage.
- Quiz grading: when you check your answers, the selected options are sent to this site over the same connection, graded against the answer key and returned. The result is stored only in your browser; the server keeps no record of attempts.
- No payment data: there is no checkout, subscription or payment processing on this site.
- No location data: the site requests no geolocation and features no weather or live-traffic services.
- Children: the site is general-audience education and knowingly collects nothing from anyone, children included.
What will change
A later phase adds optional accounts (via a reputable authentication provider) so progress can sync between devices. The local record described above is deliberately shaped so it can be imported into an account later without losing anything. Before accounts launch, this policy will be rewritten to describe exactly what is stored, where, for how long, and how you can export or delete it. The feature will not go live until that text is published.
